I am originally from a small town in mid-west Ohio where I grew up playing many different sports and working on a pig farm. I have always been fascinated with the natural laws of life, biology, and wildlife. My original intentions were to become a Wildlife Biologist and work for the National Park Service. When I graduated from Ohio University in 2008, the federal government was shut down and the National Park Service was not hiring. I decided to accept a job at an environmental consulting firm and worked very diligently to protect high quality creeks and wetlands from natural gas projects. Ultimately, I began to really wonder what path this would lead me down and whether I was satisfied with my career choice.
After a lot of self-reflection about what I truly wanted to do with my time on this planet, I knew I wanted to help others transform their lives from sickness and disease to a life full of potential and well-being. After speaking with my family Chiropractor, I began to realize that Chiropractic is made up of three pillars. Chiropractic is an art, a science and a philosophy that relies on the natural laws of the universe and life. This was right up my alley. The combination of these three pillars provides a platform to serve others with the best model of healthcare available. Shortly after, I decided to enroll into Life Chiropractic College in Atlanta, GA.
Chiropractic is the only profession that specializes in the restoration of the spine with specific intentions to re-connect the neurological transmission between the mind and body. In Chiropractic, we understand that symptoms are a sign that something is not working right. When we have a change in electrical signals from the brain to the body, it can affect organs, tissues, all the way down to cells. Chiropractic adjustments help to balance the chemicals released in the brain and body which in return stimulates the life transforming healing process!
After graduating from Life Chiropractic College, I decided to open my practice in Morgantown, West Virginia. It has provided me with a very valuable experience in building a business and providing the best care I can for my patients. My office focused on care for patients coming back from the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, the young and the old, as well as athletes. In 2017, I was provided with the opportunity to be a part of the Island Family Chiropractic team. Since then, I closed my practice and decided to live and work in paradise.
My goal is to provide you and your family a professional healthcare service that restores the body’s own healing potential and allows you to not only get your life back, but raise the potential for living life to the max. Aloha
